Silk Gauze is a unique beautiful fabric that is more transparent than china silk with a matte appearance and loose weave.
An extremely sheer and delicate fiber with a very soft hand and floaty drape. 54″ wide great for draping over lights and windows.
Dyes and paints easily with great color retention.
Because of its delicate nature, silk gauzes should be handled more carefully. Not recommended for clothing or accessories.

- White gauze dyes beautifully with Jaquard Acid Dyes
- We found that this shrinks 14% in Length and 8% in Width
- Available in cut yardage . Hemmed on 2 sides with silk thread.
- Wash in any temperature water – while silk gauze can be machine washed, you will get maximum shrink that way. Because of the delicacy of a thin gauze like this, hand washing is preferable.
