This is a charming and simple story of the natural cycle of a plant.
It follows a little seed as she grows into a beautiful flower and then gives her seeds back to mother earth. The author used dry and wet felting to create colorful pictures for this book.
The story begins, “Early one spring morning, a little seed woke up after her long winter sleep. She yawned and stretched. With a loud CRACK her hard brown jacket fell away ‘Oh said the surprised seed. The earth above felt warm.”
